A feature-rich climbing and hiking pack, the Osprey Variant 52 delivers durability, easy-climbing-friendly features, and 2,900+ cubic inches of storage capacity.
A 6mm aluminum frame and HDPE frame sheet provide the pack’s structure and load-balancing stability. If you’re not carrying that much weight or want to make the pack’s own weight, you can remove both completely. A thermoformed, contoured back panel cushions the load and also sheds snow effectively in alpine conditions. Padded shoulder straps improve fit and load-hauling capability, as does a contoured hip belt that can be completely removed for ease of use if you’re wearing a harness or simply not carrying enough weight to use it. Load-lifting straps and an adjustable sternum strap further ensure the right fit. The small 52 option fits torso lengths from 16” to 19”, the medium best fits 18” to 21”, and the large model fits torso lengths from 20” to 23”.
The top main pack bag features a protective flap that can be completely removed to reduce pack weight. The integrated FlapJacket panel pulls forward to protect the pack bag if and when you choose to leave the flap behind. In addition to the main compartment, the flap has two zippered pockets and a large front panel pocket.
There are also plenty of climbing and mountaineering features, such as reinforced A-frame ski carry loops, glove-friendly hardware, dual ice tool pouches with tie-downs, a rope compression strap under the lid, and an integrated three-point haul system. . Other features include side compression straps, gear attachment points, a sternum strap safety whistle, and a lined sleeve and positioned hose routing that make the pack's hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

If I don't like the product, can I return it?
- You can cancel your order at any stage, including within 14 days after receiving the product - as stipulated by the regulations governing distance selling.
- If, upon inspecting the received product in the presence of the courier, you find that it does not satisfy you for some reason, the courier will prepare a report and the product in its original packaging along with accompanying documents will be sent back. (To avoid such misunderstandings, we encourage you to carefully study the detailed description of each model in advance.)
- If, despite the detailed description and inspection of the product, it does not satisfy you, you can return it within 14 days. We expect that in this case you will only try on the product, check its functionality, and return it as you received it, including packaging and protective films. If the value of the product has decreased due to your actions, we reserve the right to deduct this value reduction from the refundable amount.
- We ensure that the product is shipped from the store in impeccable quality. However, if you find any technical defect or imperfection in the purchased product within 14 days (Warranty Terms), after coordinating with us (write an email, and we will send you detailed instructions), you can send it back to the store. In this case, you have the right to request a product exchange or a refund. If the defect does not meet the warranty conditions, after its rectification you will receive the product with a payment due that corresponds to the cost of the repair and shipping expenses.

REFUND:
- If for any of the reasons mentioned above you need to receive back the money paid for the product, it will be transferred to the account from which it was credited. If you want to receive the money in a different account, this must be specified separately.
- In the aforementioned cases of product returns, a product inspection is carried out, for which we reserve 5 working days. If the product has been returned in the same condition as it was sent, dabai.lv will refund the money within 2-5 working days.
